Hotel Union

Excellent selection to ease into an early Shinkansen departure (in my case) from Kagoshimachuo station - flat walk in 10 minutes. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Hotel ncorporates a restaurant used by guests and locals. My booking included 'half-board' - had a delicious meal selected from a range of set menus.

good, comfortable stay. Traditional Japanese breakfast facilitated by lovely ladies clearly proud of their hotel & food to a high standard. Delightful for a foreign traveller to see.

The futon was super comfortable and the blanket was fluffy and really warm to sleep. Also the bathtub was big enough to fit even me.

I love my room view, its great!
